I used to recommend Namehero, now i am going to be moving to another hosting platform that will provide support. I absolutely understand rising costs but not having either phone support or live chat is really disappointing. If you never have any problems by all means use NH but heed the warning I hope you never need support but when there is a problem you are going to wish you had a live person to talk/text to regarding your problem. just my 2c

AVOID AVOID AVOID 75% Price Hike - Monthly Subs went from $39.95 to $69.95 then websites VANISH!
I have been with NameHero for nearly two years and have spent over $1,000 with the company. The monthly subscription I signed up for was $39.95p/m. The price then skyrocketed by 75% in December from $39.95p/m to $69.99p/m.
I requested to cancel my service. On the day following cancellation I contacted Namehero and asked if I subscribed to a lower cost monthly package could they upload the sites from my previous package.
They confirmed that they could and instructed me to sign up for a package with them. I signed up for the new package and they migrated one site from the old server to the new server for me.
There were a further two sites to be migrated. NameHero then advised that they could not find the other sites on the server and rather bizarrely advised me to start from scratch as if it would be a 5-10 minute inconvenience to redo two websites from scratch.
I pleaded with them to look further into it which they "claim" to have done. The sites were live and working perfectly the day before cancellation. Both sites were on the server and I have confirmed this by checking the A record in the DNS settings of both domains were pointed to the old server so the sites were stored on the old server.
Despite providing this information they still assumed I was mistaken and advised that the sites were not on the server. I have asked if I can reactivate the package to log into the server and get the sites myself. They have advised this is not possible.
I then asked for the matter to be escalated as they have access to the old server and therefore the sites. I have just received another update after pleading (actually begging would be a better description) them to do something about it. They advised "I have been digging all the available backups that we have but I am sorry to say, there is no data that we can restore for your reported missing websites."
So they applied a 75% price increase from November to December and going forward. They then promised to migrate my sites from the old server if I signed up for a new package with them which I did. Now they say the can't find the websites or in their words the "reported missing websites.". No of course I'm making up the websites were on the server and that the A record was pointing to the server.
Its also quite clear that they could reinstate the package if they wished but they don't want to.
I'm now stuck redoing months of work because not one person in Namehero can locate the sites for me. That is pretty dismal service by anyone's expectations.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. Go with any other provider but this one.
I've not had much need to use the NameHero support since I began hosting with them 2 years ago, but each time I need help they stay with the issue until things are really solved to my satisfaction.

There are many hosting providers but there is only one NameHero. Their support is truly un-matched. Every time I've had a challenge, they answer the tickets promptly and ALWAYS resolve what ever issue I have. I am truly grateful for this company. 5 stars is not enough to give this company a rating. They truly care about their customers.
I have been a happy NameHero customer since 2017. Their web hosting services are great, rich with features and fast. Also support is fast at responding and reliable.
The only con is that since late last year they increased pricing significantly. This increase in pricing seems unfair. I was paying $382.80 every two years, at my next renewal, due in November, I will have to pay $1127.76 every 2 years. To be fair, with their new pricing they increased marginally the bandwidth and storage limits but I was happy with what I had. I would have rather stuck to the previous specs and kept paying the same amount.
So in a nutshell, can't fault their service, its A+ but be wary about steep price hikes. Although web hosts do increase pricing, I don't believe that such sudden steep increases in pricing are the norm.
